Kareena Kapoor Khan, the foodie

While shooting in various parts of south Mumbai for ‘Singham Returns’, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ajay Devgn would order food from the area’s well-known restaurants.

The film’s shooting locales took them from Reay Road and Cotton Green to JJ flyover, Colaba and Worli. Depending on the area they were in, they would tuck into the specialities of the local restaurants.

From the sandwich ice-creams and Patrani Machhi to bun-maska and misal pav, the stars went off their diets during the schedule. Bebo, Devgn and director Rohit Shetty would also order for the unit hands, especially crew members who were not from Mumbai, or were unfamiliar with the local food items.
Kareena and Devgn would then reminisce about eating at these restaurants in their younger days.
